Hi, I’m Chris!

I’m endlessly curious and this has led me to travel the world, photograph distant galaxies, and explore urban centres - always with camera in hand.

I love photography, it has a unique ability to tell stories, transport us back to amazing memories and capture fleeting moments, which can now last for a lifetime.

My time spent travelling and living in cities really grew my passion for candid photography, capturing real day-to-day moments of the people around me, amazing characters, happy moments, reunions, and drama, all set against some amazing backdrops.

It taught me that not getting in the way, blending in, patience and observing would let genuine, authentic moments happen, and let me not just tell a story, but tell one that’s real, honest.

I’ve found that people look their most beautiful, relaxed and natural when not made to pose, or look down the lens of a camera, but are simply enjoying genuine heartfelt moments.

My travels and my experiences in various cities as a street photographer has greatly informed my approach to wedding photography.

Photography isn’t just a job to me, it’s a passion, I love story telling, I am fascinated by light, shape and mood, which means, that even when I’m not officially behind the camera, I take the camera with me at every opportunity, on my travels, on days spent with friends and even just to go exploring and see what I can find that’s interesting.

Outside of photography, I enjoy making cocktails, longboarding and astronomy - if it’s a clear night, there’s every chance I am outside, with my telescope looking at distant galaxies. I’ve got many, many other interests, but mostly a sense of adventure, and exploration.
